South India cotton yarn prices steady on improved export outlook

Although cotton yarn prices in Tiruppur remained stable, market sentiment improved. A trader from Tiruppur told Fibre2Fashion, “The declining trend may halt as cotton yarn export prospects have improved. Chinese buyers are enquiring about Indian cotton yarn. Gujarat mills have already increased selling rates by &#****;*–* per kg. Spinning mills may get some relief following duty-free cotton imports until December this year.”
