The current polypropylene production capacity in Prime Polymer is 1,170K tons per year and will be 1,060K tons per year after the suspension.
This decision is made in order to construct a new polypropylene manufacturing facility planning for a scrap-and-build-style restructuring of its production system, the company said in a media release.
Looking ahead, Prime Polymer will work to address the needs of its customers by streamlining its operations in a bid to bolster its business platform and add further value to its products.
