Sumitomo Seika today announced a plan to add a new train to the existing production facility for Super absorbent polymers (the product) in France to better meet growing demands for the product from customers.
This project is executed by Sumitomo Seika Europe S.A./N.V. (Brussels, Belgium). The new train will add an additional 27,000 metric tons to the current 20,000 metric tons per year in production capacity. This expansion will enable Sumitomo Seika Europe to meet greater demands from customers for AQUA KEEPTM in Europe and North Africa.
