DuPont Performance Polymers, an American chemical company, has appointed Edward Breen and James Gallogly as independent directors to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Breen currently serves as the chairman of the Board of Directors of Tyco International plc. Breen currently serves on the Board of Comcast and is a member of the Advisory Board of New Mountain Capital LLC, a private equity firm, and also serves on the Board of Trustees of Grove City College.
Gallogly previously served as the chairman of the management board and chief executive officer of LyondellBasell Industries N.V. He is a member of the University of Oklahoma’s Engineering Board of Visitors and the University of Colorado Engineering Advisory Council.
