As regulations tighten and composite waste grows, Verretex turns industrial waste into high-performance materials. Verretex will employ the CHF 150,000 from Venture Kick to advance business development by expanding customer engagements, scaling pilot projects, and strengthening industry partnerships. The funding will also support market entry strategies, certification, and supply chain development to ensure its recycled glass fiber solutions meet industry standards and commercial demands.
The founding team—CEO Mitchell Anderson, COO Lidia Rocoffort de Vinnière, CFO Pierre Wüst, and CSO Nour Halawani—brings expertise in composites, sustainability, and business development to launch Verretex. Drawing on their experience at EPFL, IMD, and in industry, they developed a scalable solution to transform recycled glass fibers into high-quality, sustainable products, positioning Verretex as a leading EPFL spin-off.
