One sector that saw a significant boost was online retail. Internet-based sales at current prices rose by 6.2 per cent from July to August 2023. The overall share of online sales in total retail sales also jumped from 7.9 per cent in July to 8.2 per cent in August this year, as per Statistics Poland.
