US retail trade sales decline 1.2% MoM in March 2023

Non-store retailers, which include online and mail-order retailers, saw the most significant increase in sales in March 2023, with a 12.3 per cent increase from the previous year.

For clothing and clothing accessories stores, the estimated total adjusted sales were $25.893 billion in March 2023 compared to $26.346 billion in February 2023. In comparison with March 2022, US’ total adjusted sales for clothing and clothing accessories stores were $26.367 billion, as per US Census Bureau.
