The world's biggest online retailer Amazon is creating around 120,000 seasonal appointments in its US fulfilment centres, sorting centres and customer service facilities in the upcoming holiday season. In the previous year's holiday season, the online retailer had transitioned more than 14,000 seasonal positions to full time roles after the holidays.

According to company, it has created tens of thousands of new full time roles in its US fulfilment and customer service centres in the current year.
“Throughout the year on average, nearly 90 per cent of employees across its US fulfilment network are regular and full time employees,” it said. (AR)
