Amazon India has created more than 22,000 seasonal positions in its various centres, delivery stations and customer service sites in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and many other cities this festive season for faster order processing. Amazon has 15 sorting centres, around 150 delivery stations and 13 customer service sites in India.
By doubling the number of associates in India, Amazon aims to offer seamless shopping experience to Indian customers by augmenting its capabilities, Amazon said in a press release. (DS)
