European online fashion retailer Zalando has entered into a wholesale agreement with US apparel marketer Abercrombie & Fitch, through which its various brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister and Abercrombie Kids will be made available to customers of the fashion retailer, in the 15 European countries that Zalando serves.

This agreement will provide Abercrombie & Fitch access to Zalando's more than 18 million active customers across the 15 EU markets.

Abercrombie & Fitch's president, Fran Horowitz said, “As Europe's leading online platform for fashion, we are confident Zalando will enhance the value of all of our brands and this business will accompany our strong store and digital presence already established in the region."

"Abercrombie & Fitch has made great strides to grow and expand its footprint globally and we look forward to continuing that growth strategy across our European network," Zalando's senior vice president category management and markets, Moritz Hahn said. (AR)
