Indian Threads, an online destination for men in India that brings the most sharp and premium men’s shirts, plans to sell over 10,000 shirts from March onwards. The company is currently selling over 6,000 shirts every month via over 120 vendors and retail outlets from all over Madhya Pradesh and has also added vendors from Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

The Indore based company has come a long way, thanks to a solid understanding of its niche and a dynamic platform whose breadth of multichannel integrations is helping it expand.

"Our deal is for common men's wardrobe, which is not going to change for the next decade. A few changes in trends do come over the time period; even we are always excited to serve them something new. Although our style is magnetic, from classics to trending, we have a vast product change," said Abhishek Rawal, co-founder of Indian Threads.

"It all started with a simple idea – to design fresh high-quality items at nominal price range we wanted ourselves. What started as an online webstore for our passion and entrepreneurial experiment quickly grew into much more than just selling a few shirts," said Vishi Porwal, co-founder of Indian Threads.

The founders of the company further said that they are planning to introduce different products like T- shirts, men's bottom wear, suits, blazers and accessories. They also aim to open their own brand store all over India in the next five years and expand the Indian brand by exporting to different countries.

Currently, fashion industry has more than 50 per cent share of the B2C e-commerce market, which is likely to go up with online retail gaining prominence. The company believes that the online retail sector in India is here to stay. This confidence comes from the much better ecosystem that prevails in terms of consumer acceptance and the infrastructure to deliver. (KD)
