In the initial stages about 25 stores in cities like Baroda, Nashik will open and expansion to about 100 stores is planned by 2008-09.

'The Loot', at present, has its presence in over 13 outlets in cities like Mumbai, Delhi,Hyderabad and Vishakhapatanam. It retails well known brands like Adidas, Pepe Jeans, Reebok, Levi's, Wrangler etc, offering discounts between 30 to 70 percent.

The company having a far sighted vision has gone in for exclusive tie-ups with brands such as Tuscan Verve and Thomas Scott.

In a very recent strategic move, it has secured a tie-up with the RPG group's 'Spencers', to have a shop-in-shop at every Spencers' hypermarket store in the country.

Similar tie-up with hypermarket brands such as Star India Bazaar, a Tata enterprise, and Magnet are also being discussed, sources said.
