Online bespoke retailing seems to be fast picking up in Australia with more and more shoppers opting for web-based made-to-measure apparels to get the perfect fit at affordable prices.

Seeing the trend, a new online bespoke retail store Alter Ego Jeans has opened in Australia. It makes custom made pairs of jeans on order.

The shoppers need to submit their measurements such as waist, bottom, back rise, front rise, mid thigh, hips, knee and calf, etc. They can also select the fabric, cut, stitching and pocket size.

The jeans are then stitched together in India and delivered to Australian customers in about a month’s time.

If the pair of jeans do not fit, the company remakes the denims at its cost, and in case of simple alteration, the firm sends a voucher to the customer for getting it done.
