Denmark's retail sector has registered considerable profits in 2005.
Retail sales of apparel and accessories in January 2005 posted a 10.9 percent increase in value and 15.5 percent rise in quantity over 2004.
December 2005 saw a rise of 10.6 percent in value and growth in volume sales was pegged at 11.4 percent.
Average monthly retail sales recorded 9.6 percent increase in value terms and 11 percent in volume.
Though all the apparel categories improved, men's wear landed at the top spot with a 19.6 percent growth over 2004.
