India - a hot destination now, advises A T Kearney report to global retailers

Awareness through international media, frequent travel besides higher disposable incomes has brought in high level of fashion consciousness and brand recall.

Further, the report informs world's largest retailer Wal-Mart is planning entry in the India markets soon. Leading retailers like Metro GmbH, Foodworld, Marks & Spenser and Spar have strategised their entry through franchisee route also.
