Administration of Beijing has recently issued a new 'Development List of Beijing Circulation Industry' to limit the establishments of new big shopping malls, in order to put a relief on traffic pressure in city.
Recently, many big shopping malls are coming up at a rapid pace in Beijing. As for example, within five kilometers of Jingyuan shopping mall, another five big shopping malls have come up. These malls, in turn, are hampering business of small shopping centers as well as each others'.
These are going against the development of Beijing economy.
