Retail trade sales, at constant (2000) prices for the second quarter of 2005 increased by 6,8% compared with the second quarter of 2004, informs a release from South Africa's Statistics Department.
Similarly, retail trade sales, at constant (2000) prices for the period January to June 2005 increased by 6,0% compared with the period January to June 2004.
Retail trade sales, at constant (2000) prices for June 2005 increased by 5,4% compared with June 2004.
Wholesale trade sales for June, at constant (2000) prices, for the second quarter of 2005 increased by 4,7% compared with the second quarter of 2004.
Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales, at constant (2000) prices, for the second quarter of 2005 showed an increase of 6,8% compared with the previous quarter, said the release.
