The healthy growth of the ethnic wear and saree category in the country made the company feel it is the right time to enter the market, Chawla told a top economic newspaper.
The addressable market size for Taneira is about ₹40,000 crores, which does not include the mass market, he said.
The Taneira range will only be sold through exclusive branded outlets, taneira.com and Tata Cliq, he added. (DS)
