City Chic Collective, an Australia-based multi-channel retailer, has announced its interim results (H1) for fiscal 2021 ended on December 27, 2020. Sales revenue for the period increased 13.5 per cent YoY to A$119.0 million (Australian dollar) compared to sales revenue of A$104.8 million in the same period last year. Net profit after tax was A$13.1 million.

Online sales of City Chic Collective for the six-month period rose to A$82.5 million (H1 FY20: A$54.4 million), which represents 73 per cent of the total sales. Whereas, total store sales were impacted by temporary store closures due to Covid-19 restrictions and permanent closure of 14 holdover stores in June 2020.

Regionally, sales in southern hemisphere for H1 FY21 grew marginally by 1 per cent to A$70.8 million (A$69.9 million). On the other hand, northern hemisphere reported 38 per cent sales growth to A$48.2 million (A$35.0 million), attributing to strong growth from Avenue, whilst Covid-19 impacted CC US website and US partners.
