Indian fashion retail company FLF posts FY21 revenue of ₹2,277 mn

Future Lifestyle Fashions (FLF), an Indian fashion company, reported decline in its revenue from operations to ₹2,276.7 crore during the fiscal 2021 ended on March 31, 2021, compared to the revenue of ₹6,297.3 crore in the previous fiscal. The company’s net loss for the year widened to ₹933.3 crore (FY20: ₹53.0 crore), while EBITDA was ₹30 crore (₹1,055 crore).
 
Gross profit for FY21 was down to ₹626 crore (₹2,128 crore), while total expenses were ₹3,245.4 crore (₹6,313.3 crore).
 
“The impact of the current surge in Covid-19 pandemic on the overall economic environment is uncertain and may affect the underlying assumptions and estimates used to prepare the company's financial results, whereby actual outcome may differ from those assumptions and estimates considered as at the date of approval of these financial results,” the company said in a press release.
 
FLF is the flagship fashion business of Future Group, operating with more than 300 stores in 90+ cities. It owns and markets leading brands, through its in-house retail chains Central and Brand Factory, exclusive brand outlets and other multi-brand outlets.
