Bangladesh’s point-to-point inflation rate dropped a bit to 9.17 per cent in April this year from 9.35 per cent in the preceding month due to a March fall in the rate, both in food and non-food items, according to data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).The rate of non-food inflation fell to 9.61 per cent last month from 9.7 per cent in March, domestic media outlets reported.
