It rose by 21.50 per cent on the December 2024 figure and on a twelve-months moving averages basis, it increased by 39.62 per cent in the month, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat).
The CPI for clothing and footwear in the country increased by 9.49 per cent YoY and fell by 0.71 per cent MoM in August.
CPI excluding unprocessed food, energy, alcoholic beverages, tobacco and gold increased by 2.07 per cent MoM and 32.71 per cent YoY in August. It rose by 21.87 per cent on the December 2024 figure and on a twelve-months moving averages basis, it increased by 39.07 per cent in the month.
