Non-food inflation rate in the month fell further to 9.5 per cent from 9.74 per cent in August, data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) show.
The point-to-point inflation in rural areas in September was 10.15 per cent—down from 10.95 per cent in August, while it was 9.83 per cent in urban areas in September—down from 10.01 per cent in August, domestic media outlets reported
The wage rate index in the month rose to 8.01 per cent in the month—up from 7.96 per cent in August.
