  • Consumer prices in Poland increased by 2 per cent YoY and 0.2 per cent month on month (MoM) in March this year, with goods prices rising by 0.4 per cent YoY and 0.1 per cent MoM.
  • Compared with the previous month, the highest contribution to the total consumer price index in March came from prices of clothing and footwear, which rose by 3.3 per cent.
Consumer prices in Poland increased by 2 per cent year on year (YoY) and 0.2 per cent month on month (MoM) in March this year, with goods prices rising by 0.4 per cent YoY and 0.1 per cent MoM.

Compared with the previous month, the highest contribution to the total consumer price index (CPI) in March this year came from prices of clothing and footwear, which rose by 3.3 per cent.

The index for clothing and footwear was 101.1 in March this year compared to 103.3 in February, and 102.2 in the first quarter (Q1) this year, Statistics Poland said in a release.
