Germany's inflation rate expected to be 2.2% in March 2025

Germany's inflation rate expected to be 2.2% in March 2025

The inflation rate in Germany, measured as the change in the consumer price index (CPI) compared with the same month a year earlier, is expected to stand at 2.2 per cent in March this year, according to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).

Based on the results available, Destatis also reported that consumer prices increased by 0.3 per cent month on month in March.

Core inflation (excluding food and energy) is expected to stand at 2.5 per cent in the month, a Destatis release said.
