A 2.5 per cent MoM hike in the prices of clothing and footwear during the month increased the index by 0.10 percentage points.
Compared with the previous month, the highest contribution to the total consumer price index in September came from lower prices related to transport, health, food, and recreation and culture, all of which contributed to raise the index.
Compared with the corresponding month of the last year, higher prices related to food and dwelling contributed to the rise in the index. Lower prices related to transport contributed to the decrease in the index.
