Poland's retail sales at constant prices 4.4% higher YoY in Jul 2024

Between January and July, retail sales in the country increased by 4.9 per cent YoY against a YoY decrease by 5.4 per cent in corresponding period last year.

The country’s online retail sales at current prices rose by 16.7 per cent YoY in July. The share of online sales in total retail sales increased in July to 8.8 per cent from 7.9 per cent in the corresponding month last year, a release from the organisation said.

Among the groups with a significant share of online sales, an increase in share was reported from the textiles, clothing, footwear sector—from 18.6 per cent a year ago to 22.5 per cent in July.
