Polish textiles, clothing, footwear retail sales drops 24.7% YoY

Entities selling textiles, clothing and footwear recorded a fall of 24.7 per cent YoY in retail sales in January.

Online retail sales value in the country at current prices increased by 11 per cent during the month.

The share of online sales in total sales increased YoY in January from 8.3 per cent to 8.8 per cent.

The online sales of enterprises selling textiles, clothing and footwear in the total sales in the sector increased to 27.2 per cent in January from 21.5 per cent during the corresponding month last year.
