Turkiye’s retail sales volume with constant prices in May 2022 increased by 20.8 per cent compared with the same month of the previous year and by 1.9 per cent compared with April this year. The retail turnover with current prices increased by 139.9 per cent in May this year compared with the same month of the previous year, according to official statistics. Retail turnover with current prices increased by 4.1 per cent in May compared with the previous month.
The retail sales volume of textiles, clothing and footwear increased by 58.2 per cent YoY in May and fell by 1.6 per cent month over month.
