Core inflation, which excludes food, electricity and healthcare services, grew by 0.42 per cent MoM and 3.07 per cent YoY.

Nine out of the 11 categories of goods and services saw price hikes, with transportation up by 0.95 per cent YoY.

Gas prices dropped by 1.26 per cent YoY, a domestic news agency reported.
