Silk farmers from Bushenyi district will be provided Government assistance to raise silk production, announced Vice-President Prof Gilbert Bukenya at Rubaare silk factory in Sheema County.
President Yoweri Museveni had asked him to examine activities of residents of Kiruhura and Bushenyi and also sought reports on how the NRM's bonnabagagawale programme (prosperity for all) could be implemented.
Gilbert Bukenya advised local people to join silk farming as Government has decided to provide all possible helps.
