Jharkhand approaches CSB for exclusive rights of organic silk

The Sericulture and Handicraft Department of the Jharkhand state has advised the Central Silk Board (CSB) to make an effort to patent the variety of organic silk available here.
This step of patenting organic silk will be a major stride towards improvement of the States' economy.
This will help the state to come forward as big exporter of silk from India.
