Oil leak causes fire at Kankatala Silks sari showroom

Fire erupted at Kankatala Silks sari showroom on January 14, 2007 in the evening. Consumers panicked and traffic came to a halt, but there was no injury or damage to property.
Fire tenders reached the showroom at Jagadamba Junction and doused the blaze quickly. Cause of the fire is found to be oil leak from the showroom's generator.
