Presently, silk price level is too low, but this will not last long in domestic market. With the gradual warm-up of export and domestic markets, newly increased silk materials will be consumed by large amount of silk goods; cocoon and silk supply and demand will be able to achieve a basic balance. Raw silk price should rise to a reasonable level at 200,000 yuan per ton.
With modern scientific and technological progress, it would not be too long to realize the desire of detecting raw silk quality by modern electronic detection technology. With the introduction of electronic testing standards for raw silk, the status of China silk industry in international silk industry will be advanced.
