The current developments in the Middle East have led to significant distortions in the energy and raw materials markets worldwide. Due to this and to considerable disruptions to international trade routes prices for oil, natural gas, raw materials and logistics have risen palpably. WACKER’s global silicones business is affected by this development.The Group is working intensively across its global production and logistics network to minimize any impact on its customers. However, in view of the extent of current cost increases, particularly for energy, raw materials, and logistics, price adjustments are inevitable. WACKER will raise prices for silicone-based products effective April 1, 2026. Customers will be informed accordingly.
WACKER Chemie will increase prices for its silicone-based products from April 01, 2026, as rising energy, raw material and logistics costs driven by Middle East disruptions strain global supply chains.
The company is working across its production and logistics network to limit customer impact but said the scale of cost inflation makes price adjustments unavoidable.
