Addressing key HVAC manufacturing challenges
Energy efficiency and sustainability are top priorities as HVAC systems face increasingly severe operating conditions. BLUESIL ESA 8352 A&B provides manufacturers with dependable, primeless adhesion on multiple substrates including metals and plastics, streamlining assembly and lowering total production costs. Room-temperature curing accelerates part handling, increasing throughput on manufacturing lines. The adhesive tolerates thermal expansion, resists both high temperatures and chemical exposure, and creates durable, leak-proof seals essential for modern HVAC environments. Easy mixing and dispensing allow integration with automated or manual workflows, supporting operational efficiency and consistent quality.
With a handling time of about half an hour / between 25 to 30 min, BLUESIL ESA 8352 A&B improves manufacturing of the HVAC units – a key advantage in temperature-sensitive HVAC environments. The adhesive’s thermal and chemical resistance ensures long-term reliability, minimizing maintenance needs and maximizing equipment lifespan.
Certified UL 94 HB for flammability resistance, BLUESIL ESA 8352 A&B withstands continuous temperatures up to 180°C (356°F), with peaks reaching 220°C (428°F). It adapts to complex geometries and works seamlessly with precise dosing systems, helping manufacturers achieve consistent results and reduce defects.
BLUESIL ESA 8352 A&B was developed to meet two critical market requirements: increased demand for high-temperature flexible silicone adhesives that deliver reliability in challenging environments, and the need for versatile solutions that adapt to specific processing and assembly speeds,” said Catherine George, regional market manager at Elkem Silicones. “Its ability to cure at room temperature, along with strong adhesion on multiple substrates, enables our customers to reduce energy use, streamline production and deliver high-performing systems”
