The recent military conflict in the Middle East has led to significant distortions in commodity markets worldwide. Consequently, prices for oil, natural gas, raw materials and logistics have significantly risen. WACKER’s global polymers business is especially affected by this development. To compensate higher raw material and freight costs, WACKER will significantly raise its prices for polymer dispersions, resins and dispersible polymer powders, effective from April 1, 2026. The extent of the necessary price adjustment depends on where the respective product is sourced and on existing contractual agreements. Primarily products sourced at WACKER’s production sites in Europe and Asia are affected by the increase.
