Sustainability Consortium joins GreenBiz for net zero goals

The Sustainability Consortium has announced its partnership as a GreenBiz Net Zero Community Partner, reflecting the urgent push by various companies towards achieving net-zero goals. GreenBiz Net Zero is an online platform, hosting a collaborative experience designed to provide state-of-the-art strategies for substantially reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The event will be held on September 7, 2023.

Through small-group discussions, solution-forward workshops, and enlightening keynotes, participants can catalyse their organisation’s transition to net-zero. Access to all event recordings post-event will also be made available, the Sustainability Consortium said in a press release.

The GreenBiz Net Zero programme is set to offer more than 20 instructive and motivational sessions, addressing topics such as combating greenwashing, employing climate simulators, maximising the impact of climate strategy, and acknowledging the multifaceted role of nature.

Among the highlighted speakers for the event are high-profile sustainability executives, scientists, and business developers. This includes Kevin Dooley, chief scientist at The Sustainability Consortium; Gina McCarthy, former White House national climate advisor; Mahesh Ramanujam, president and CEO of The Global Network for Zero; Rene Lammers, executive vice president at PepsiCo; and Tolulope Falade, senior manager of sustainability at Indeed.

By joining GreenBiz Net Zero, attendees will be exposed to more than 20 inspirational sessions and insights from over 50 expert speakers, all aimed at furnishing proven and innovative methods to dramatically slash GHG emissions.
