Dieffenbacher has bagged an order to supply a fully automated LFT-D plant in China to a joint venture set up by US based Continental Structural Plastics (CSP) and Chinese company Victall.
Dieffenbacher has till date supplied ten presses and six LFT-D plants to CSP, a major global supplier of composite components in the automotive industry, while Victall operates in the field of railway engineering.Dieffenbacher has bagged an order to supply a fully automated LFT-D plant in China to a joint venture set up by US based Continental Structural#
“The new plant will enable the partners to expand their range of components for China's rapidly growing automotive industry,” Dieffenbacher said in a press release.
The scope of supply includes a 4300 ton press with a punch press, in-line compounding, convection ovens and complete automation.
A large portion of the plant will be built in the Dieffenbacher production plant in Shanghai and services such as maintenance, installation and commissioning will also be provided by Dieffenbacher China.
The LFT-D line to be set-up in Tangshan, supplies components in a 30 second cycle and with double belt-loading, it has an output of approximately one million components a year.
