Bostik completes acquisition of LIP

Bostik, an international adhesives company, has completed the acquisition of LIP Bygningsartikler AS (LIP), the Danish leader in tile adhesives, waterproofing systems and floor preparation solutions, on January 3, 2020. This acquisition is in line with Arkema's strategy to continuously grow its Adhesives business through bolt-on acquisitions.

This acquisition complements Bostik's geographic presence, product ranges and technologies. Bostik was sold to Arkema, a specialty chemicals and advanced materials company, in the year 2015.
