Global leader in managed Web security ScanSafe has announced that Paul Davril Inc, a leading clothing manufacturer for brands such as Kenneth Cole and Ecko Red, has selected ScanSafe's Web Scanning service to protect its network from the threat of Web viruses and malware.

With ScanSafe's service in place, Paul Davril has been able to secure its nationwide network while more efficiently utilizing its bandwidth and IT resources.

Robert Praul, a Project Manager for Paul Davril, said, "ScanSafe's managed services solution was attractive from the outset because it didn't require our own resources to install and manage equipment and software across both our New York and Los Angeles offices."

Paul Davril is an innovative full-service supplier to retail of all apparel classifications, leading the way over the last 30 years with its strength in merchandising capabilities and overseas procurement resources.

Presently, PDI operates offices located on three continents and has more than 500 employees in these various locations. It owns the domestic license rights to Kenneth Cole sportswear, Ecko Red womenswear and maintains a robust private label business as well.

By using ScanSafe, Paul Davril was able to provide blanket protection for all of its users without having to purchase or manage multiple appliances or software licenses for multiple locations. More importantly, Paul Davril's IT staff doesn't have to spend resources individually dealing with spyware and adware related incidents -- in this case an average of 400 per week.
