Plus size clothing line designer Monif C. Plus Sizes debuts MonifC.com retail website during New York's Olympus Fashion Week at SHOW Nightclub - sponsored by SPANX.
New York's Fashion Week marks the debut of the most-anticipated plus size designer fashion line, Monif C. Plus Sizes, with two major fashion events. Today, September 12, 2005, Monif C. unveils its e-commerce website http://www.monifc.com featuring the "Brown Sugar" collection—a contemporary collection of flirty skirts, sexy dresses and sophisticated tops for the plus-sized woman.
In addition to being sold online at http://www.monifc.com and http://www.alight.com, the collection will also be sold in specialty boutiques across the country such as Greenlife Boutique in New York's East Village and Vive La Femme in Chicago.
The designs of Monif C. will be featured September 16, 2005 at her New York Fashion Week Launch Party. Held the last day of New York's Fashion Week, the event will feature a fashion show showcasing the "Brown Sugar" Fall Collection, the "Glitter Bay" Holiday Collection and a preview of the Spring 2006 Collection.
The launch party will take place at SHOW Nightclub located at 135 West 41st Street directly across the street from the Fashion Week tents from 6 – 10pm and is sponsored by SPANX by Sara Blakely. Models will take the stage with several SPANX hosiery product styles serving as a foundation under the Monif C. collection. All SPANX hosiery and shapewear products are designed by women and help ladies of all sizes look and feel their best in their clothing.
