Innovative physical and electronic delivery solution provider Canada Post's direct shopping service, Borderfree, last night unveiled a newly revamped, consumer-friendly Web site and announced new partnership agreements with nine leading North American retailers.

Canada Post Borderfree is a convenient, easy and secure way for consumers to shop direct via online purchases or retail catalogues. The improved online experience at www.borderfree.ca acts as a portal to legendary brands, some that haven't been available before in this country, and allows consumers to take advantage of deals and promotions.

The new online retail partners include: Marciano; CardScan Inc; Duluth Pack; InterfaceFLOR, Creative Irish Gifts; Smarthome; and Total Home Store. Additional agreements were signed with Hanna Andersson, a Swedish-inspired clothing line for kids and adults, and Ulla Popken, a plus-size fashion house for women, to ship their catalogues in Canada. These names add to Borderfree's existing roster of participating retailers, which include famous brands like Guess, Brookstone, Crate & Barrel, Sephora and Puma.

Patrick Bartlett, President of Canada Post Borderfree informs that at its core, Borderfree delivers two important services to their consumers. First of all, they're dedicated to growing the catalogue business in Canada by partnering with exciting, leading retail brands and enabling them to distribute their catalogues and ship purchases across the border.
