Bar-code printers provider Avery Dennison Retail Information Services (ADRIS) announced that the company enters agreement with Subli Impresos, Murr S.A.(SIMSA) for Heat Transfer Technology.
Advanced heat transfer technology that yields superior images, text, bar codes and security characters in apparel and footwear tag-free labeling applications has been obtained by Avery Dennison Retail Information Services (RIS) through an agreement with Subli Impresos, Murr S.A., Durango, Mexico (SIMSA).
The advanced heat transfer technology strengthens vertically integrated RIS' position as a leading supplier of heat transfer applications and related products and services. In addition to the company's line of quality ComfortTag heat transfers, Avery Dennison RIS offers highly reliable heat transfer bonders and global service and support.
According to Kevin Young, VP/GM, Avery Dennison RIS, the agreement comes at a time when apparel manufacturers that market goods carrying heat transfer applications are seeking a competitive advantage.
