OptiTex installs computer fashion workstations at SADTI

OptiTex specializes in the development of innovative, easy-to-operate fashion design software useful for auto and parachute industries, educational institutions and high-tech. OptiTex has annual sales of $5 million.
The Petah Tikva based OptiTex has sold 45 computer fashion design workstations to the Suzhou Art & Design Technology Institute (SADTI) in China.
After intensive negotiations with the Chinese, the mega deal was finalized, informed Saar Machtinger, OptiTex Product Manager.
He added that China was the company's largest target in Asia, and its second largest worldwide.
Such programmes have already been sold to 15 Chinese educational institutions. CEO Ran Machtinger foresaw huge opportunity to grow in Asia, mostly in China and India.
With fourth position over the world in its field, exports amount to 95 percent of sales.
