This moisture-managing technique is an attempt to provide better comfort for the players, inturn improving overall performance.
Developed by New Era Cap Co., this product absorbs sweat and then evaporates in no time.
"By revolutionizing the cap, we're ensuring the players' headwear provides the best performance while they play," Chief Executive Officer, Christopher Koch said.
AL Rookie of the Year Justin Verlander has come up as one of the first supporters of this new cap. Justin explained to the media, “They look exactly the same, they breathe more and they won't shrink. The best thing is, when it rains, the hats won't stink like the wool ones did."
