AATCC to conduct colour management workshop

AATCC, the world’s leading not-for-profit association serving textile professionals, is set to conduct a colour management workshop on August 15 and 16, 2018, in Research Triangle Park, in NC, US. World-renowned colour experts will participate in the workshop. AATCC provides test method development, quality control materials, and professional networking.

Various topics to be discussed include Colour Communication: Colour Theory Basics by Roland L. Johnson, Colour Solutions International; Understanding Whites and other Fluorescent Materials by Roland L. Connelly, Sr., RoLyn Group Color Consultants; Colour Tolerances in “Black and White” by Ann C. Laidlaw, ACL Color Consulting LLC; Colour and Lighting: Control, Efficiency, and Compliance by Ann C. Laidlaw, ACL Color Consulting LLC; Supply Chain Conformance-Why Don’t my Numbers Match Yours? by Ken R. Butts, Datacolor; Matching Heather Fabrics-What Could Be Easier? by Keith D. Hoover, Black Swan Textiles LLC; and The Evolution and Revolution of Global Colour Management by Carol T. Revels, Lands’ End Inc.

The workshop is designed for merchandisers, retailers, manufacturers, product developers, colour approval managers, specifiers, and designers.
