Alexium International, an Australian company developing speciality solution, has announced their successful exhibition with over 40 leads at the recently held Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) Expo.

The company's fruitful show brought in the solid leads from a variety of markets including military, home furnishings, medical, outdoor, workwear and the nonwoven sectors worldwide. Alexium expects to begin receiving fabrics and requirements to proceed into the developmental stages from these leads for new revenues.

“We are very pleased with the turnout and success of this show. Even more importantly, we realise that Alexium is becoming even more well-known with key decision makers in the industry. A recognisable number of significant companies came to seek Alexium out. This indicates that our branding/marketing efforts and reputation are beginning to take route,” said Dirk Van Hyning, president of Alexium in a media statement.

Alexium holds proprietary patent applications for a process developed initially by the US Department of Defense, which allows for the surface modification and attachment of nano-particles or multiple chemical functional groups to surfaces or substrates to provide functions such as fire retardancy, water proofing, oil proofing, and anti-microbial treatments.
