Americhem, a colour and additive solution provider to the plastics and synthetic fibres industry, has opened a new customer concept centre (CCC) and a renovated laboratory in Suzhou, China for a practical and innovative space to show Americhem's new products and technologies, according to a press statement released by the company.

The CCC will have a wide selection of end-product samples and technical solutions for synthetic fibres, building products, nonwovens and other specialty engineered compounds. Its renovated laboratory will help the company in expanding its capacity to develop next generation products.

Commenting on the China opening, Stanley Teoh, vice president and managing director for the Asia Pacific region of Americhem said, “We are pleased to provide a space for our customers to view product samples, discover functional additives and compounds, work in partnership with our experts on new products and utilise our colour training centre.”

There is also a training centre with educational resources on colour theory, product development and colour control for visitors. Synthetic fibre colour libraries are available for a wide array of applications including carpet, apparel, automotive and industrial fabrics, and synthetic turf.

The facility also supports product development for Americhem's sister company – Infinity LTL Engineered Compounds, with a comprehensive range of INELEC, INLUBE, INSTRUC and Colorfast high temperature engineering compounds and alloys. (MCJ)
