Prices started decreasing from the beginning of the current month. Ample product availability, softer upstream product prices coupled with dull demand sentiments supported the price fall.
Downstream buyers expected an increase in the supply of the product in the market in the near future. Toluene prices witnessed 2% w-o-w fall in the first and second week of October.
